The overwhelming interest posed a challenge for the client. And in addition, they were scheduled for a mountain hiking trip leading up to the auction, where they would have limited mobile reception. To navigate this, the client granted Marcus with written authority to negotiate and bid on their behalf, with the aim to purchase the property either before or at the auction. While the client enjoyed their mountain hike, Marcus negotiated diligently with the selling agent. The negotiation process extended for over five hours one evening, concluding at 11 pm.

Thanks to Marcus’s negotiation techniques and established relationship with the selling agent, the client managed to purchase their first home at a price likely lower than what they would have paid at the auction. Following the success of the negotiations, Marcus delivered the good news to the client which they were thrilled about.
