For these first home buyers, the process of buying was very stressful. After looking for some months, a house came on the market that I didn’t feel they could afford however 2-days before the auction the agent called me and encouraged me to come through. I saw it the day before the auction and knew it would be perfect for them. As they had missed out on a few houses that they had become attached to, it was with trepidation that I told them about it, especially as they were still holidaying in Japan. However, I emailed them as much information as I could. The next day, may clients landed at Sydney airport at 7 am, saw the house at 8:30 am and by 10:30 am they owned it for a great price! I was the only bidder at the auction and I held strong until they dropped the hammer. From our initial conversation to purchasing it was around 15 hours and the clients were dumbfounded but over the moon.
