Property Buyer Alert: Bondi Beach, 2026

Bondi Beach, perhaps Australia’s most famous beaches, symbolises Australia’s love affair with the water and surf culture. In this coastal hotspot, housing options are as diverse as those living in the area  ranging from townhouses and apartments  to standalone houses.

Steven Langman Buyers Agent at Cohen Handler, Australia’s leading residential property buyers agency, said that the “Bondi bubble” exists for a good reason. A 1-kilometre stretch of world-renowned white sand and an outstanding dining and drinking scene are just a few of the many attractions along Sydney’s picturesque Eastern suburbs coastline.
“Bondi continues to gentrify and change, with new developments and dining and leisure venues popping up all over the suburb.

“The closer to the beach you are, the more expensive the real estate, but there are still great opportunities for people looking to move to this iconic part of Sydney.”

Some of the developments and new venues in Bondi include:

The Bondi “Pav”

The Bondi Pavilion has been a part of Bondi Beach life for over 90 years. A repurposed Pavilion enriches the Waverley community experience and reunites residents and neighbours.

A major refurbishment of the Pavilion was officially completed in September 2022.

The overhaul included adding major structural and remedial works, and restored the iconic building to its former glory as a major hub of the local community.
