Luxury property buyer agency, Cohen Handler has recently launched in Perth and is set to shake things up in the state capital’s real estate industry.
With a “vision to sharpen up the old school ways of Perth’s real estate scene,” the agency expanded into WA in March 2022 bringing a fresh perspective to purchases by putting buyers first.
The Perth market is already embracing the exciting new process with Cohen Handler reporting over A$10 million worth of property sales in March alone.
The agency’s founder Simon Cohen and star of Amazon’s TV show ‘Luxe Listings Sydney’ said the Perth market is the next step in its continued success.
“With the market in Perth so strong, an abundance of luxury properties, and a demand for buyers agents, it was a no brainer, and the next step in growing our brand and growing our service nationwide.”

The West Coast side will be helmed by Perth-born designer Ryan Lobik who mentioned exciting times lay ahead.
“It’s a very old school industry here in Perth, similar to the way Simon saw Sydney 10 years ago when he started Cohen Handler. We’ve come in and shaken it up a bit, I believe we’ve been able to add a huge amount of value to our clients, the Perth buying public and the sales agent. I am really excited for what is to come.”

Solely a buyer’s agency, Cohen Handler manages the research, evaluation and negotiation of a property purchase on behalf of the buyer.
Two notable recent purchases secured by Mr Lobik with Space Realty and DUET Property Group include a beautiful Zorzi-designed home in Nedlands and a coastal home in Cottesloe.
The first on Melvista Avenue was secured in the low A$4 million with the latter, resting on Lyons Street, reaching around A$6 million.
Michelle Kerr, Director of DUET Property Group, said working with Mr Lobik at Cohen Handler was “seamless”.
Having never worked with a buyer’s agent before, I was surprised how seamless the process was. Ryan’s research and knowledge was impressive.
