These clients approached Cohen Handler as they had been missing out on multiple properties. They liked two properties and we negotiated on one of them on a Saturday whilst we waited for the other to go to auction on the following Monday. We felt that the auctioned property would go over their budget, however, we wanted to be at the auction in case it didn’t. It sold at auction for $100k over our budget. So, we secured the other property by negotiating prior to the auction and beating another two buyers to it for the initial price we negotiated due to my long-standing relationship with the agent.
