Ben and Emma wished to purchase a home for themselves and future family with good long term growth prospects in a well-known and safe neighbourhood. Infrastructure for public transport, access to the city and local amenities were important as well as a ‘friendly’ local community.
Ben and Emma missed two lovely homes to other highly competitive buyers. We took them to view Rosser Street privately in late November and we put an offer in immediately. After a series of back and forth negotiations with the vendor and a Dutch auction against a Chinese investor they finally secured the property at $1,150,000. While this was above their initial budget they now own a large 3 bedroom home with great scope for value add through renovations, building a garage and in the long run adding another floor to the property. The bank valuation came in above the purchase price and in the long run Ben and Emma have purchased a fantastic family home that will reward them well in 10 or 15 years.
