Len and Karen were seeking a 2 bedroom apartment with minimal stairs as close to Bondi beach as possible. After missing a couple of properties in a highly competitive sub-$1milion market, Alexandra sourced an off market apartment in need of a renovation on the very desirable Francis Street, a stone’s throw from the beach. The first floor apartment has level access and features 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a lock up garage. The property was negotiated at a very good price and Karen and Len have since completed a full renovation on the apartment which has added significant value. Len and Karen are very happy in their Bondi home and despite a drastic rise in Bondi prices over the past 6 months have no intentions to sell.

There were times when I became very despondent, but she wouldn’t have a bar of it and was always upbeat and positive. When I was unable to drive because of an operation, she would pick me up and take me to view the properties. I have never known someone to be so ‘devoted’ to the cause!
Simon was quietly steering the ship in the background. Calls to him were answered or returned very promptly and, even when we ‘lost’ a property at auction he seemed to become more determined than ever to find us our home.
We are now the proud owners of a unit that falls into the ‘perfect world’ category, and this is entirely due to Simon and Alexandra’s work. We could never have found or bought it without them. Simon is an outstanding negotiator and the two of them make a formidable team. I would recommend Cohen Handler without reservation to anyone looking to buy property, whether for investment or as a dwelling.
We are renovating, but when we are done , Simon Cohen and Alexandra Vincent Martelli will be among our first guests.
